NOTE: Visual Arts students will be required to pay an additional $75 materials fee.

Join us for an exploration of artistic mediums and genres that will inspire a playful, courageous and open-minded approach to artistic process and expression. Throughout our two weeks together, we will have mini-courses in drawing, representational and conceptual painting, sculpture/assemblage, mixed media, and printmaking.

Students will collaborate to self-publish a “sketchbook” zine as a culminating project, show their work in a gallery setting, take a field trip to the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, create public art and engage in cross-disciplinary projects with students studying other art forms. Students will be provided with resources and ideas to continue their practice during the year.
