Storm picked up the guitar at the age of 16, and hasn’t looked back since. As a guitarist, Storm has performed solo in a variety of settings, and with various ensembles such as the Seattle Peace Chorus, the Yakima Symphony Orchestra, the PLU Symphony Orchestra, the PLU Jazz Band, the PLU Symphony Orchestra, and his band Green Room. He has also worked in the pits of theaters around the Puget Sound area, for productions such as Rock of Ages, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Head Over Heels, and Avenue Q. His most recent performance was in the finals of this year’s Northwest Guitar Festival, where he placed third.
Storm received his bachelors degree in Guitar Performance from Pacific Lutheran University in 2018, studying classical guitar and lute under Elizabeth Brown and jazz guitar under Stephen Howland, and he is currently attending Portland State University, where he’s studying classical guitar under Mario Díaz and getting his masters in Guitar Performance.
